A complicated piece of machinery, the brake master cylinder converts the pressure exerted by a foot pressing down on the pedal to hydraulic pressure with assistance from the brake servo. The hydraulic pressure is the catalyst for the braking action

A disc break system is comprised of brake pads, a break caliper and a brake disc. The brake pad wear sensor will warn of high levels of brake pad wear, indicating the need to replace them.
